Rugged and reliable, the RTB 4200 and 4300

floor standing platelet bag incubators are designed

to give many years of trouble free continuous use.

The versatile cabinet can contain a mixture of

rotators and flat bed shakers to offer a full range of

options, tailored to meet individual requirements.

Two cabinet designs are available to hold two or

three rotators or shakers, or a mixture of both types.

The air in the chamber is continuously renewed

by a special pump to provide optimum oxygen

exchange whilst the platelets are gently

resuspended.

The heating-cooling system is controlled by a

precision microprocessor thermoregulator to keep

the chamber temperature constant for optimal

The temperature of the chamber is

continuously monitored by a graphic thermal chart

recorder. This is independent from the mains supply

to detect and record deviations during power

failures.

The incubator is fitted with an "out of

temperature" alarm circuit.A "stop detection" alarm

can also be fitted on request which is designed to

interface with centralised laboratory alarm detection

systems.

The rotators or shakers are equipped with

reliable long life low voltage 12 V dc electric motors

for added safety.

The chamber can be illuminated with a

protected lamp, fitted in the right wall. The rotator

assemblies are easily removed from the chamber

for routine cleaning operations. The power supply

jack is disconnected and the units simply slide out.
